- Elegant Hands
Elegant ladies do not wear long claws instead she opts for her natural nails in a beautifully finished manicure in a subtle color. However, she does favor glitter nail polish and luscious reds during the holiday season. But one thing a lady never overlooks is the condition of her nails when she leaves the house. Chipped nail polish may seem like a petty detail but trust us it is not. Nail Management Chipped nail polish can ruin your overall look because hands are always on display. Chipped nail polish could make you appear ill groomed even if you are well groomed. That one little detail that was overlooked makes people assume that you have overlooked other details as it relates to your hygiene and self-care. So, by all means if the nail polish has chipped, remove it all. The same holds true for a broken nail. Do not walk around sporting uneven nails it looks horrid, take our word for it. A lady should always be in possession of cotton balls and nail polish remover as well as a nail grooming kit in between visits to her manicurist. Length The length of an elegant woman nails is no longer than 1.5 millimeters, and her nails should be filed-in the shape that suits her hand. Very long nails that borders on the verge of claws isn't recommended but it's completely up to the woman. A lady chooses natural lengths and colors as she understands true beauty is about looking like yourself with only subtle enhancements to highlight your beauty not completely change the way you look. Hands An elegant woman doesn't simply focus on her nails she takes care of her hands overall. She washes her hands often which can lead to dryness so she always has a moisturizer specifically for her hands to maintain her skin. She gives the same attention to her feet, ashy feet and hardened heels are things a lady is sure to manage on a regular basis. Heel exfoliation and moisturizing should be part of an elegant ladies bath everyday. These tips might sound like a full time job, you might think to yourself who has the time? the answer is, an elegant woman makes the time to look and feel her best. She understands that how she looks and how she feels is a testament to her character. That's right, overlooking things, and taking short cuts, or completely altering how you look are all clues that you lack discipline, that you might be unorganized or you're unaware of how important little details of self care are. If you need help creating a self care regime or you have questions sign up for an online Appearance Management course where you will work one on one with our director to speak openly about your concerns and create a plan.
- Hotel at Home
We all enjoy visiting 5 star hotels and experiencing luxury amenities and suites. The ambiance of the rooms are nothing short of beautiful as we fork over hundreds and sometimes thousands per night for the opportunity to live in luxury for the duration of our trip. But when we arrive back home, our surroundings dont make us feel as pampered or as cozy because we keep making choices that everyday people make. Instead of making choices like a designer of a five star hotel. You don't need to be an interior decorator to follow these five simple tips to bring a Hotel Ambiance to your living space. Tip #1 Keep it subtle and neutral: I love color but when it comes to my bedroom I keep things very neutral because I am able to sleep better. Bright colors seem to disturb me as I'm trying to go to sleep. The majority of Hotels keep it very neutral. Tip #2 All White Bedding: I actually request an all white bed when I go to a hotel, it's very hard to tell if bedding that is colorful is dirty and that is not ok with me. Most of the Hotel chains we love do this as a courtesy and peace of mind for their customers. Buy an all white bed set for your bed. It also makes your bed look bigger, and helps you wash when it's dirty. Darker colors on the bed could mean that you are sleeping on dirty sheets and bedding unknowingly which is not ok. Tip #3 Pillow Ratio Balanced: Pillow quality is a huge deal when making the bed, and the ratio of pillows for the size of the bed. 4-6 Pillows is the perfect balance for full to King size beds. But you need to know how to buy the right pillows and the correct sizes to make the bed look sumptuous. For a Full Size Bed 2 Queen Pillows 2 standard pillows Queen Size Bed 2 Queen Size Four Euro Pillows 24x24 King Size Bed 2 King Pillows 2 Queen Pillows 2 Euro Pillows 26x26
- Simplicity
Simplicity is the mark of a true lady or gentlemen we prefer well made clothing that serves a specific purpose rather than flashy and trendy. Our personal style leans toward a uniform taste, we know our measurements and we keep up with them over time so we can simply drop off a shirt or suit to our tailor. Simplicity doesn't mean cheap and it doesn't always mean expensive simplicity to us means. Appropriate for the occasion: A lady or gentlemen will not show up to an event over dressed or under dressed. We dress for the occasion and we often make a decision before hand. Bold colors or Muted Color? We know the colors that best suit our skin tone and we stock up on them, we are sure to use the colors that suit our skin tone around our face to always look our best. Body Focus Ladies if they'd like to show skin or not, and when they decide they choose specific body parts that they will show at a time. Legs or arms? Back or decolletage? Or no skin at all. - Tech & Balances for kids
It seems children are born ready to use technology with no help from us besides placing it in their hands. In the age of social media, endless apps, and movies on demand technology has to be monitored, scheduled and cut off sometimes for real world experiences. We’re challenging parents of young people ages 4-12 to observe their child’s behavior changes for 3 days. No judgement or punishment just make note of any mood changes that occurs and notate how long it last if any. Day 1: Take away tech devices after 30 minutes of immersion. Then give the technology back to your child and watch the response. When the technology was taken away did the cry? Did they notice? Did they care at all? Day 2: interrupt a tablet moment for something more hands on like reading a physical book or racing in the backyard, or maybe even a craft. Observe their behavior, are they excited to be hands on, moody and reluctant, or indifferent? Day 3: Allow no technology outside of school requirements, and observe Nah our. Does your child find creative outlets to make their own fun? Do they sneak and turn on the computer devices anyway. Do they nap more or seem bored without it? If you feel comfortable sharing your outcome tag #peerlessetiquettekids we would love to know the outcome.

- Why is it that neutral colors are a favorite among minimalist?
Neutral colors provide a foundation to any design, many minimalist who are pairing down to the essentials, choose to live with neutral colors permanently. It doesn't mean that all minimalist are the same, I know many minimalist who are living Peerless Daily who prefer to bring color into their living spaces subtly, and some who bring color into their spaces boldly. Minimalist enjoy neutral color palettes in their living spaces and in their wardrobes because it's non committal, interchangeable, and essential. A bright red wall or a purple sweater will always stand out, sometimes bold colors that stand out in this way can become annoying over time unless it's your favorite color. Think about it like this. If you know someone who is always in your face vying for your attention; won't you need a break from them? Won't you grow tired of them? That's the same with bold colors for minimalist who want to live in a space or dress in a way that is fluid and laid back without pressure. Neutrals are a favorite because they are the essential starting point: Minimalism is about functionality and pairing down distractions to make more space, physically and mentally for the things that matter most to us. This is not to say that color isn't welcome, I love fresh colorful flowers next to my bed and on my dining table during Spring and pops of color throughout the home to create visual interest, but I tend to use them sparingly and only when the mood hits me. So the color is usually noncommittal; in a pillow covering, flowers, or a throw blanket, instead of a wall, or furniture. Neutral colors are calming: Many minimalist enjoy neutral colors because of the calming effect they have on them. Neutral colors create the illusion of more space: Many Minimalist who live in smaller spaces have realized that they can make their living space seem larger by sticking to neutral colors like white, beige, and gray. Neutral Colors are no doubt a favorite among most minimalist, but that doesn't stop them from living a colorful life. Many of our clients say that by creating a more serene environment they are inspired to write more, explore more, and create more. In my own experience neutral colors don't distract me like bold and bright colors do, so I understand. We want to hear from you, as a minimalist what colors do you live with? How do they influence you?

Living Peerless is all about living an essential life, one free of the burdens of ego and the need to compete with others but a truly personal journey where you are one with yourself, your loved ones, your surrounding and your choices. Living Peerless Daily is a daily check in and reminder to purge from your life anything that no longer brings you joy, peace and happiness. Today we are discussing simplifying; simplification is the act of getting rid of excess clutter that no longer serves us to make room for the things that do. Simplifying is not a race to be the person with the least amount of things but it's inspiration to get clarity about what matters to you. Throwing away art supplies when you're an artist is counter productive to the process so is getting rid of camera lenses when you are a photographer. But having art supplies when you have no interest in art that you purchased because they were on sale is a different story, donating those items to a less fortunate school or to an artist is simplifying to find what means the most to you. Many people who live a minimalist lifestyle or would like to embark on the minimalist journey begin by getting rid of everything because they believe in order to be a minimalist you must own nothing. These very same people quit minimalism in a short time period because a life without anything is hard to sustain. Peerless Daily agrees with some minimalist principles but we believe in finding a balance, a healthy balance of simplification without over simplifying. We believe people should have nice things, and we believe that people need to see and experience beauty and feel the inner joy that comes from handling well made products. We believe that people buy so much because they buy cheaply. Most people lack the discipline to save for the best, they buy cheaply and then they buy often because the cheaply made products don't last, they settled for them, they never really loved them. We have found that when people buy quality, and make a bit of an investment, they are open to letting go excess. Hence, the reason Peerless Daily believes in conscious quality purchases over spontaneous cheap purchases. This leads to simplification, no one ever gets rid of things they invested in and consciously chose. Remember there is no simplification police that is coming by to make sure you have one of everything. You are the only person who knows what you need. To live Peerless, you need to de-clutter your life and make space for the things that add value to your lifes purpose. These things should be of excellent quality chosen consciously by you.
